Security
What Rankenza does, what it does not do, and what we do not claim.
What Rankenza stores
- Account records: your email, account creation date, free-article status, paid credits, and order records for credits you buy.
- Passwords: account passwords are stored only as PBKDF2 hashes with a per-user salt, not as readable text.
- Sessions: login sessions last 30 days, after which you log in again.
- Articles: drafts and published articles on this site, plus the internal-link and photo information used to build them.
What Rankenza does not store
- Payment card details. Payments are completed with PayPal or Creem, and card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored in the Rankenza article system.
- Customer passwords or API keys for other services. The article system does not ask for, and does not store, passwords or API keys for your website, search console, or other accounts.
What we do not claim
Rankenza does not claim SOC 2, ISO, or any other security certification. If a compliance question matters for your use, ask us and we will answer from what the system actually does, not from a badge we do not hold.
